ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. no, don't start by 4 month, No other foods or fluids including water are not necessary till 6 months. Exclusive breast feed your baby two hourly and on demand.

Neelam ChinnappaMom of a 7 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. thank you for reaching out to us with this important question please know that the first six months are exclusively for breastfeeding so please do not offer your baby anything other than mothers milk and formula milk only if suggested by your pediatrician please know there is enough water content in mother's milk and formula milk so additional Li offering water is definitely not needed semi-solid also can be started after your baby complete 6 months
