A. Do not lift heavy weights or bend down or sit down or have intercourse or do anything that will strain ur stitches before u complete six months. Though the external stitches could have healed, the internal stitches will take around six months to heal completely. Try to wear maternity belt as much as possible and when u travel. This will help to keep the stitches intact. Pain may be there for the first couple of weeks then the intensity will reduce and u can experience some prickling sensation until three months. Then u should feel normal mostly. To prevent back aches feed the baby in a comfortable position. Using a feeding pillow should help.
