#AskTheExpert post delivery on 25th oct , period started on 25th oct, actual period date was 5th of every month,till date no period

ExpertDr.Deepinder Kaur DhawanObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. incase you are a breastfeeding mom then you may face irregularities in periods or amenorrhea till one year due to hormonal fluctuations.. always use effective contraceptive methods.take iron calcium regularly

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom There is irregularity of periods after delivery due to the hormonal changes. Breastfeeding mothers periods tend to get periods late and as late as one year. So no need to worry. Once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular.
