Q.

#AskTheExpert our child who is now 4 yrs old suddenly started stammering a little while talking or replying back to questions. Reciting rhymes and all she is doing great with ease but when it comes to talking or answering back to questions she starts struggling with stammers by repeating words, struggling with words and using long pauses and taking time to pronounce words. this has been a recent phenomenon earlier it was not like that. we have a genetic history of stammering running in family. what should we do ?

A. kindly visit your pediatrician who will tell you whether any speech therapy is required or not and also will find the cause of stammering in the child . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

A. hello since you have a s a history if stammering this can be due to heriditory and it would be better to check with your doctor and check if any therapy is needed and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
