#AskTheExpert now am 21 weeks pregnant.. I found my sugar level was high in the last blood test so doctor suggested me to take melmet 500 mg SR. 3 times a day after food is tat ok doctor ??

A. hi mom gestational diabetes can be controlled very well on diet please consult a qualified dietitian I see such cases that's is why I can tell you , each day is important for baby If the sugars are still not controlled then insulin or medicine cna be given
