Q.

#asktheexpert my your year old boy have cavities in teeth.. Dr has suggested root canal... is there any other option for treatment.. without root canal

A. If the root canal would not be necessary necessary the doctor would never advise you in the first place maybe the cavities are reaching into the gums of your child and that’s why your doctor must’ve advised you to go ahead with root canal if you are still confused or not sure then take a second opinion before you go ahead with getting the procedure done
