#asktheexpert my wife's blood report shows microcytic hypochromic anemia what is the further treatment for this.?We took the test to find why haemoglobin is not increasing after taking supplements.

A. you take iron and vitamin C supplements. The iron will help treat the anemia while the vitamin C will help increase your body's ability to absorb the iron. You can improve low MCH and MCV by increasing your dietary intake of foods high in iron, folate, and vitamins A and C.

Then it would be important for your wife to take more of Iron which supplement where she can include beetroot pomegranate spinach into her every day diet black rice all these things are going to be beneficial to increase it over the period but she has to take it on a very regular basis so that it is going to be better with passing time
