#AskTheExpert my wife lives in very hot summer places. We have 8 days old baby boy, is the swaddling good for baby?

for small children less than 6 months of age it is very important to take proper care during the summer season.
you have to give milk at frequent intervals to keep the child while hydrated and proper urine output has to be maintained
at the same time you should cover the child with cotton clothes and see that vthe child doesn't become to hot and try to give the child as long as possible indoors during the harsh sunlight
when going outside you can use caps for the child

meeta agarwalMom of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, In hot weather, it's totally fine to let your baby sleep in just a diaper and light muslin swaddle. Of course, you should not overdress your baby or overheat the room, whether she's swaddled or not.
