Q.
#AskTheExpert my toddler is 4 month old but he doesn't poo on his own. On recommendation of our pediatrician we use looz syrup 2 ml twice a day and also use batti every 5-6 day. his stool isn't hard, it's like toothpaste. Any leads on when will he poo on his own? how much more time shall we wait? he is on complete breastfeed

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. at this age happens. As per this now for what you have mentioned there is for now no need to worry about this as it is seeming to be a normal thing and so there is no need to worry about this at all for this .

Constipation and gas problem is very normal in the newborn babies just give your baby good massage with warm oil on his stomach clockwise and anticlockwise position and give him Tummy time daily do exercise with his legs in a cycling form apply hing water around his navel but not in the Navel as well
