#AskTheExpert My sone is 6.5 months old n has started taking solids like rice n dal porridge n apple n pear n banana puree. he is having tight stool. very hard. he becomes very uncomfortable while passing it. he does potty almost every day but very hard. please advise remedies.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. yes it is com afte diet. Mother feeding should be exclusive at least till 6 month of age of not directly then expressed milk can be tried. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .
