#AskTheExpert my son molar teeth is erupting on both side up nd down side he is having fever which is 99.5 or 99.8 from today morning after evening nap i saw his left side face is swell which is from ears to jaw line its bcouz of teething or something else ? plz reply

Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose as the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again requiredb and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever
