#asktheexpert my son is suffering from sticky eyes from last 20 25 days continuously..

Author of questionFather of a 1 yr 7 m old boy1 Year agoA. this problem of watery discharge is encoutering only in one eye..we are cleaning that eye regularly 3-4th times in a day with lukewarm water and using cotton, still discharge comes whenever he sleeps.. however neither redness is observed in any of the eye nor he seems irritating with it

normally simple secretions / allexrgy redness should not occur again and again.
use hygienic cloth as well as your hands should be clean when coming in contact with the child eyes
if the child'sx eyes is sticky with pus discharge or regular discharge coming out you have to meet the doctor. examination is needed in case on eye infection .
do not use any drops witout medical consultation

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl1 Year agoA. Clean the eyes properly with cold water that should really be helpful still if the problem is persistent then you’ll have to have an assessment with your paediatric for this as they can give you further help as the requirement
