Mom of a 5 yr old boy3 years ago
Q.

#AskTheExpert My son is one year old.. we've been using disposable diapers for him since he was 15 days old.. We use 7 to 8 diapers per day.. And during every diaper change we make sure the diaper area is cleaned properly using water based wet wipes and we also use diaper rash cream for every change. We also provide him some diaper free time. We haven't come across anything such as diaper rashes or allergies.. But all of a sudden he started developing rashes in diaper area which is very severe.. We've tried some home remedies as well.. but the rashes tend to get worse.. Is it because of some food intake? or because of the diaper? If it is due to the diaper, what is the reason for him to develop rashes all of a sudden? I don't agree with the saying that cloth diapers are the best.. And also kindly suggest a good diaper rash cream.

A. apply ezinapi cream & do Consult your doctor who will examine the baby and will advise you with further management and investigations if any required because without examination it is difficult to comment on the current situation

A. Have You change the diaper brand lately maybe it could be due to that also and apart from home remedies I’m going to advise you to start applying Boroline anti septic cream Vaseline ghee coconut all these things are the best things to deal with diaper rashes and second thing maybe it is not a diaper rash it could be some kind of an allergy out infection as well so you consult with your paediatrician ones for that
