#asktheexpert my son is 9 month old and his toungue have some patches of yellow n brown shades... How to remove them.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. white colour of the tongue might be due to either simple coated tongue and if it is not going away by finger cleaning or cloth cleaning and it appears xthat the child is having pain as well as is not taking feeds then you will have to rule out fungal infection of the tongue.

You can actually use a silicon tongue cleaner for your child whenever you giving a bath to the child you should clean the tongue of the child properly otherwise you can use any fluoride free toothpaste as well as I would recommend you to go ahead with using a toothbrush Dress asWrite Your Answer Here
