#asktheexpert My son is 6 months old. He has this patch on his face since 1 month. Doc has recommended candid and candid B but did not work. I applied lotion and it was ok till two days and now again become red . What should I do?

KAVITAMom of a 1 yr 2 m old boy9 months agoA. Try using coconut oil, and dont rub with towel use soft muslin cloth to clean cheeks or wipes. And use Johnson's Baby Lotion or Cream to keep skin soft and moisturized, this lotion also helps in maintaining the ph balance of the skin and keeps skin hydrated. try this once.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 10 yr 1 m old girl9 months agoA. hi it looks like fungal infection which your child is getting recurrently. you may try very thin layer of olive oil there it should help to prevent this.
