#asktheexpert My son Arsalan is 4.4 years old ..His tongue is having whitish round patches and worried about it . Dr suggested to use paradoxin tablets along with iron syrup but didn't find any improvement in his tongue condition need help kindly suggest thank you madam

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. whenever there is confusion regarding the treatment given by your doctor and if you are not satisfied with the answers you can always take a second opinion of another doctor of the same field.
weather a particular investigation or treatment is proper or not can be confirmed only after taking relevant history and doing proper examinatiodn of the child which will be done by the second doctor.

Maybe it is oral thrush so get it checked with the dentist they will be able to give you better clarity and if it is an oral thrush then you can apply candid mouth pain regularly also sometimes it could be food or milk accumulated so you can try to clean it with a brush that is also going to be good
