#AskTheExpert My paediatric has recommended Vitocofol to my 2 year old. Since I have started giving it to him I can see his front teeth has got black stains on them. Could it be because of the Vitocofol syrup or could be because of something else?

A. Hi yes intake of iron supplements leads to black staining of kid's milk teeth. consult with your pediatrician for requirement of medicine continuation. maintain good oral hygiene by brushing twice daily
