#AskTheExpert my paed prescribed vit d3 to my 7 mon th old son which has 60000 IU once a week for 3 weeks and then discontinue it. Can I give such a heavy dosage to my 7 month old? Presently I am giving 400 IU of vit d3 - 2 ml daily

A. hello doctor, my baby is 7.5 month old, till now i was giving Normal D 5 ml per day 800iu Now her pead changed it to MG shine Nano 60000iu 5ml bottle once a week My doubt is is it safe to give big dose to her She does not have any defeciency and this has been given as regular supplement PLS ADVICE

A. yes has to be given. for further information for regarding this you should consult the nearby doctor so that the further information can be taken and that can be done as accordingly for the issue as this is concerned
