#asktheexpert My newborn baby got Seizures on his 5th day after birth. Seizures repeated 5 times in a day. now he is 23 days old. doctor suggested to take MRI. is it ok to take MRI now or should we wait till 3-4 months to get clear result in MRI.

MRI are for such small kids who r have f having seizures regularly can be done from a very early age so right now you should go ahead with both your doctors advising because you have to go ahead with giving and is easier to your child because the body has to lie still when the MRI is done so kindly just discuss all these issues and go ahead with the MRI if the problem of so it’s is still persisting
