#AskTheExpert my kid is 2 years 10 months old his weight is 13kg. he is having cold cough And fever.for fever am using crocin ds 240 how much ml should I give him.And any syrup for nose block cold And slight cough

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitushiisives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

NikithaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hello for cold you can put nasal drops and use instant cold releif rub from Babyhug and also give steam which helps and in regards to medicine it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly which is better
