Q.

#asktheexpert my daughter is just 9 yrs old and puberty (puberty hair in underarms n on private parts, breast development) is starting to be visible.is it normal....I m afraid about her height and growth bcoz I hv heard that if once periods start then height will not increase or comparatively lesser.pls clear my doubts

A. Height can increase for kids but you just have to go ahead with proper exercising specially yoga posture that really helped a lot in boosting the height and growth of the child

A. Your child is almost about to have her periods in sometime but it’s a really early age I think you should consult your doctor if they can help me with some medicines to you know balance hormonal growth so that your period can be pushed for a longer time and that is what is going to be beneficial in the current time for your child
