Q.

#AskTheExpert .my daughter is having fever for 5 days ranging from 100 to 103. got her test done neutrophil is 51 and SGOt is borderline51 .fever keep coming after every 6 hours .giving crocin 240.?got her typhoids test .report is avaited .. what could be the reason for such a high fever for last 5 days.and what we should be done ..??malaria is negative

A. it is fever. Fever is when the temperature is more then 99 degree . Paracetamol can be given for the fever every 6 hourly of fever is reoccurring frequently. Fever may be due to any viral infection so mostly will subside in 3 days other wise consult a doctor near by.
