Burp the baby well and keep him in an upright position for some time before laying down. Laying the baby in a slightly elevated position with head high than the body can also help. Laying the baby on the left side will also help digestion. But if the baby vomits with a sour smell and more curdled with a different color , then it could be due to indigestion. In that case or if the prickly heat increases and the baby shows signs of being unwell you should consult your pediatrician. Also make sure there is a minimum of half an hour gap between breastfeed and formula feed. Don't feed them immediately one after another. The formula should also be prepared in the right consistency. Take care of it.
