#AskTheExpert my daughter is 1.4 yrs old. she got fever and I gave meftal Syrup but her fever not going also her face is swollen. please advise

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 6 m old boy3 years agoA. do not give metal directly but you have to give Paracetamol then only give metal and at the same time it might be due to some type of infection or allergy the swelling is happening so meet your doctor

If The face is swollen along with fever I think your child has got some kind of an allergy by eating which is why the face has swelled up have you given something new to the child which may have reacted by chance so instead of self medicate it as of now you should immediately consult your paediatrician consult your paedi
