#AskTheExpert my daughter gets caught and cold too easily after covid..what should I do?

A. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if any fever is there paracetamol can be givefhn to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

A. Its Just due to poor immunity that’s normal with people after they get a Covid so I’m just going to advise you to be on the safer side you get a check with your doctor the doctor can advise within the boosters multivitamin supplement or anything else if it is
