ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi parent ur kid is 1 yr 7 months old, if the baby is not at all speaking nor he is imitating with gestures ,it's cause of concern, uf baby is understanding , and speaking few words along with responding with gestures, no need to worry

So do not worry if his words are not clear because it takes for a child to be 3 years or plus yo speak properly. Do jot expect much out of your baby at this age. Let him grow at his own pace.
