Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. nasal blockayhdge can be relieved by using nasal saline drops in the nose followed by nasal aspirator to take out the secretions very gently
steam inhalation will also be helpful in this case
if there are any conducted sounds or wheezing and the baby is not able to feed then you need to take an opinion from your pediatrician if any further treatment is required for this.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. Yes, For newborns/infants, use saline drops to move the mucus to the front of the nose, making it easier to remove with an aspirator. Daily use of saline drops will help keep nasal passages clean and moisturized. Avoid putting cotton swabs, twisted tissues or your fingernail inside your baby's nose.
