#AskTheExpert my baby is 7 days old. her eyes have turned yellowish. from birth she had red lines in her eyes.. I want to know , when it will clear off and become normal

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hello, your baby girl is newborn baby and her eyes are yellow so she is having a neonatal jaundice and if she is taking breast feeding forcefully and her toilet is yellow then just expose her to sunlight at morning daily for 15 minutes

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. this may be any hyperbili. Child specialist should be seen for this as proper treatment and management required a proper examination of baby by the doctor. As such no any self medication should be given to baby .
