#asktheexpert My baby is 6months old. Since yesterday she is rubbing her eyes and some yellow discharge coming out of eyes. Is that serious?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. Frequently eye discharge may be due to allergy, infection or trauma by nail of baby or blocked nasolacrimal duct. Visit ur nearest pediatrician once for detail examination of ur baby. avoid self medication

Hi mommy It’s not serious There may be some infection Consult with your doctor once for proper medical examination and treatment Wash eye often with lukewarm water Give adequate feeding Take a good care Keep baby’s surroundings clean and dust free Wash hands often before touching your baby
