A. Dear ma’am, you can give one semi solid feed of rice or ragi porridge or puréed banana/papaya or boiled and mashed sweet potato/carrot but introduce one at a time and continue the same for a few days. Water can be given once you start solids but around one or two ounces Max per day and continue to breastfeed as your milk itself will provide all the fluids your baby needs

A. let your child decide the quantity. Initially they may spit it out initially as the taste is new to them, but after few spoons if they like they shall eat it too.

A. Hello Mom Now your baby is more than six months also you can start giving solids and water. In starting few days give everything in a fluids form. Like Dal Ka Paani, rice water, vegetable soup, fruit puree. And with the time you can increase the food item in babies regular diet plan. You should give 4 to 6 meals in a day and at a time just feed 8 to 10 spoons.
