#AskTheExpert My baby is 6.5 months old. Nowadays he has started sleeping on his side for few minutes, mostly during night. Whenever I try to put him on his back, he wakes up. What should be done?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. the child is comfortable in that position then there is no need to change the position of the child and if the child doesn't develop any breathing difficulty for digestion problem then you can continue to let the child sleep in that position

No need to worry
It’s all normal and common
Give adequate feeding
Burp well after every feeding
Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation
Try to keep head up position while feeding
Give adequate feeding
Maintain hydration
