#asktheexpert my baby is 5 mnth s old...her weight gain is very slow...and she is suffering from cold and cough..her birth weight is 3kg500 grms...and present weight is 6 kg 700grms...she is mix fed baby...what can I do for her weight gaining

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 8 m old boy9 months agoA. Hello there maam. Baby weight depends on birth weight and normally doubles by the age of six months and triples by the age of one year. If baby is active and taking feed properly then no need to panic. Mother should take healthy food items including fresh fruits and dry fruits.
