#asktheexpert my baby is 5 and half month and super active but refuses to breastfeed and wake up 3 to 4 times at night

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. No need to get stressed Don't overfeed ur baby . feed only on demand. Keep a watch on urine output Baby should pass minimum urine 8 -10 times per day Burp properly after each and every feed for atleast 10 min or till baby take 4 burp Feed ur baby as per baby's demand only

Look there could be two things if your child is refusing to take breastfeeding then your child is probably having stomach pain which is why your child is waking up so many times in the night or secondly the child is not sufficiently full with breastfeeding that is why this could be happening so you can give formula feeding to the child specially during the night time
