Q.

#AskTheExpert my baby is 45 days old. from past 5-6 days there is something on his eyebrows expanding..intially we thought it could be because of weather and heat. but it is not reducing it seems. we are using coconut oil and ice pack on this. please suggest a solution for this and also what could be the reason for this

A. seems herpes, clinical examination required, Consultation with doctor personally , is required because examination of the baby is necessary to arrive on a conclusive diagnosis and prescribe accordingly. Maintain adequate hygiene to prevent risk of infection and stay safe

A. Gently rub your baby's scalp with your fingers or a washcloth to loosen the scales. Don't scratch. Wash your baby's hair once a day with mild baby shampoo. Loosen the scales with a small, soft-bristled brush or fine-toothed comb before rinsing off the shampoo.
