#AskTheExpert My baby is 3 months old and he gets lot of water and discharge from his left eye from birth. I massage each day.

Maintain adequate hygiene to prevent risk of infection and stay safe

SirishaMom of a 5 yr 4 m old girl3 years agoA. Hello. My daughter had similar kind of discharge - and it was due to blocking of tear ducts. Please Google the same. Most pediatricians recommend a massage for this problem - if it doesn't solve, then a small procedure is conducted. Proper massage (following the right technique) and pediatric consultation will solve the issue. Hope your baby recovers soon. Best Regards.
