#asktheexpert my baby is 3 months old and having constipation since last 6 days. He is exclusively breastfeeding, what to do?

A. it is totally normal for small children less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also. it is also normal if they are passingd stool more than 6 or 7 times per day. if the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as the colour (the colour can range from yellow brown green to blackd) of the stool. also straining while passing urine and stool is normal. Do burping for 15 to 20 minutes

A. Constipation is completely normal and they say so need not worry about it if your child is taking all the feeds properly showing no sign of discomfort and the urine output is good then you do not have anything to be worried about this can be seen easily easily for 10 to 12 days also
