#AskTheExpert my baby is 2 months old,is constipated since birth ..passing stool 4-5 days interval.for that she is crying very often..passing foul smell flatus..please suggest me what to do??

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months . you can give bonnisan drophs and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required buyt it should be given only in medical supervision .

Manali K MehtaMom of 2 children2 years agoA. hi parent please breast feed her every two hours take sunbathing daily with her head and ears covered give her supplements as suggested by your doctor k massage her with Babyhug coconut oil
