#AskTheExpert my baby is 1yr 5 months old and she doesn't Chew herself. I have to give everything in mashed form to herself whether it has fruits or anything else. I am worried how will she learn to chew and how her teeth and muscles got strong. pls help

A. Hi. babies can chew food with the help of back teeth.. and as per age back teeth are yet to erupt. give solid food in small pieces so that your child can learn chewing.

A. doesn't chew the food as the baby is around eight months then from you should have started with small bites of food finger foods as steamed potato sweet potato carrot some cheeselings or murmure or bread sticks soya sticks to develop food interest restrict giving the blended foods
