A. your child is having cradle cap or seborrheic dermatitis (baby dandruff) you have to daily apply baby shampoo (spoo is good brand) on the scalp of the child during the bathing. do not apply any type of oil on the scalp during the daytime but only apply oil at the night time. within one week the cradle cap will disappear. cradle cap is baby dandruff and is a type of fungal infection . if not improving with baby shampoo meet your doctor for other medicines to be added

A. In an infant, scalp dryness usually results from cradle cap, or seborrheic dermatitis, which is very common and tends to occur in the first year of life. The condition usually resolves without treatment and rarely leads to discomfort. Home care can help reduce visible skin symptoms.
