#AskTheExpert My baby is 10 days old, it’s a caesarean baby. How much lactogen is recommended per feed ? Baby is on breast feed also

A. Hai good morning!! As you are breast feeding give feed for 15-20 minutes . Feeding qantity depends on baby's present weight ,on an average 40-60 ml formula milk per feed and varies baby to baby depending on digestion capability, burp well after feed . Do simultaneous feed once formula and followed by breast feed . As breast milk produces on demand and supply the more baby latches the more milk produces.
