#AskTheExpert my baby has some skin problems so doctor ask him to use virgin coconut oil but due to winter season he catches some cold. What to do? please help me.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. do use ghee.. n coconut oil is nit a cause of cold it is viral only.. stick to the good home remedies like steaming, increased breastfeeding, plenty of rest/sleep, and using nasal saline drops.

U Can heat the oil before you are using it because coconut oil is a little cold by nature which is why it is not recommended to be used during winters so if your doctor has advised to go for it then you warm it a little and then you use it on the skin of the child that’s going to be better
