#AskTheExpert my baby has got fever cold n cough since 5 days. I am giving him(Syp.zifi 50 2ml twice a day for 5days, Martha P oral drops 4 drops three times a day, Enterogermina respules 1 respule twice a day for 3days. Zincovit drops 4 drops once a day for 20days). yesterday he had no fever but had cold. today morning he has fever too. I think he has some teething troubles . Is this all because of teething. what should we do now.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a prjioper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
