#AskTheExpert my Baby girl is in underweight .she is 10 months old..wt is only 6kg. what should i do.. i mso worried. her milestones are delayed. yet she is not crawling, started sitting in 10 month.. plz suggest

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 9 m old boy4 years agoA. it is important to meet your doctor who will tell you what is the reason for underweight of your child because it is genetic or some type of diet related issue or due to some type of disease and accordingly medicines has to be started

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Reaching these milestones later than expected does not necessarily indicate cause for concern; many infants develop at their own pace. However, delay does suggest the possibility of a problem, especially when combined with other risk factors and anatomic or radiological signs.
