A. You have to include fiber rich fruits and vegetables in the child's regular diet. Give plenty of water. You can give a ripe banana and raisins daily. An unripe or under ripe banana can worsen the constipation. So choose the banana carefully. Also avoid bakery products like biscuits, cookies, bread, cake etc., All these will help to relieve constipation. Low appetite can be due to reasons like low zinc levels or too much dairy products or less gap between meals etc. Include ajwain , ginger, lemon or carrot juice, coconut water, curd with mint in the kid's meals to boost the appetite. South Indian rasam will also increase the appetite.nMake sure to brush the child's teeth twice a day and clean her tongue regularly.
