A. hi picky eating is a normal phase for most toddlers. so if your child looks happy and active, gains enough weight then no need to worry about it. here I suggest some tips to encourage your child to take interest in food ,hope it help: so what you can do it is give him a a larger portion of that side dish and smaller portions of the things he doesn't like ,then encourage him to eat in that way. at this age it's important to serve a variety of foods and to try new foods periodically.
