#asktheexpert My baby boy is 8 months old. Very active and playful. Started solids at 6months . Have introduced allergens like nuts and he is fine with it. But when i introduced coconut milk in his puree i noticed small red patches with very little projection on his skin around mouth where ever the food with coconut milk touches. same happens for what ever food with coconut in it. The redness goes away on its own within an hour but the baby seemed fine no itching and all . Been using virgin coconut oil and ordinary coconut oil on his skin including face right from his 1st month. Is my baby allergic to coconut?
