Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation would be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be givdsen in a proper dcose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, you can give steam to your baby for few minutes and several times in a day. As steam actually helps in opening up nasal passages and also clears congestion of the baby.
Also Uou can apy Vicks baby rub on baby's chest and slight over the nose as that will also help in unlocking nasal passages.
Consult with your paediatric for any anti allergic required.
