#asktheexpert# My baby boy is 11 months old and he is suffering from cold from past 3 days I gave him solvin cold drops 0.6 ml thrice a day and Kufril ls 0.5 ml thrice a day But still cold has not completely gone as his eyes and nose are watery and coughs Have put ottrivin nasal drops also Plz guide me as he has nasal blockage I think

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. continue the medicines because it can continue for 5 to 7 days also and take a fall off with your doctor
Give nasal saline drops every few hourly to the child in the nasal cavity.
Try to prevent temperature variations around the child
You can go for indirect steam inhalation which will again help in decreasing both cough and cold
Continue the regular diet of the child
If there is no improvement in few days then meet your doctor
For fever and pain give paracetamol
