#asktheexpert my baby 11 months old is having recurrent cold. it starts with clear running nose to mucus running nose with cough and then stuffed nose with cough. I m giving him chericof syrup twice a day. even if cold completely stops but it will not be a day or two that same repeats again.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. it is due to seasonal variation .Running nose and cough cold are common during this time . Just steam as a home remedy for mild cough and cold . Ascoril LS for other cough . Also paracetamol for fever if any .

If It is happening like this that I think your child is having allergy which is why the current cold is happening it would be advisable for you that you go ahead with the homoeopathic course of medication that will help in subsiding this allergy on permanent basis
