Q.

#AskTheExpert My 9 year old fell in park n scratched her knee .The cut was deep we applied n cleaned with Dettol n betadene. but now after 5 days it's infected. pus is oozing out from the wound. we applied neosporin powder.. wil she have to eat antibiotics also. we left the wound open because it's rainy season and the wound used to stick to the dressing. so should we keep it covered?

A. Hello mom before doing anything further would rather suggest to get her examined by the Doctor and take proper medication and dressing for the same would be ideal and their is infection as so their is puss formation
